Sigumchi Moochim (Marinated spinach)


Sigumchi means spinach in Korean.
       You need,
       Spinach (1 bunch, the Taiwan spinach is the best for this dish)
       Green onion (1-2 roots), Garlic (1/2 tea spoon)
       Salt (1/3 tea spoon), Sesame seeds (1 table spoon), Sesame oil (1 tea spoon)
       For 3 serving
Clean spinach

and put them into a container with lid

and microwave them about 3-4 minutes.
The operating time can be different,
 because it depends on the kind of container and power of microwave.


When they are done, put them into a strainer to drain.

Make ½ tea spoon of chopped garlic.
Chop green onion roots. 

In a bowl, apply spinach and add chopped garlic and green onions.


Mix them well with salt and sesame oil.


Sigumchi moochim is good with rice or meat dishes.
